Stabilus S.A. / Key word(s): Personnel Stabilus S.A.: Dr. Michael Büchsner named new Chief Executive Officer Luxembourg/Koblenz, March 26, 2019 - At an extraordinary meeting held today, the supervisory board of Stabilus S.A. named Dr. Michael Büchsner (44) as the company's new Chief Executive Officer. It is anticipated that Michael Büchsner will take up his mandate as CEO in the course of the third quarter of 2019, and by October 1, 2019 at the very latest. Over the past 20 years, he has held a variety of senior positions at automotive components supplier TRW in Austria, Germany and the USA, and, following its takeover of TRW, at ZF Friedrichshafen AG. He is currently head of ZF Friedrichshafen's Passive Safety Systems division, the main areas he covers in this position being strategy, finances, investments, and customer relations. He succeeds Dr. Stephan Kessel, who took on the position of interim CEO on August 1, 2018, moving from the supervisory to the management board in order to assume this role. As of July 31, 2019, Dr. Kessel shall rejoin the supervisory board, Luxembourg law prescribing that his seat on the supervisory board may be dormant for a maximum period of one year. Once Stephan Kessel rejoins the supervisory board, the mandate of the current Chairman, Udo Stark, shall, as previously announced, end. # End of ad hoc announcement #
